Meet your dentist
Dr. Radhika Kapoor
Board-certified pediatric dentist and founder of Smile Wellness. She built the practice around one belief: treat the root cause, not just the symptom.
A different kind of dental visit
Dr. Kapoor completed her pediatric dental residency at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., where she trained in sedation dentistry, dental trauma, interceptive orthodontics, and the care of children with special healthcare needs. She has practiced laser dentistry since 2017 and uses the LightScalpel CO₂ laser for gentle tongue- and lip-tie releases in infants, children, and adults.
Her approach is holistic and airway-focused: she looks at how breathing, tongue posture, feeding, and facial growth fit together — because a healthy mouth is part of a healthy body, not separate from it. She holds hospital privileges to provide dental care under general anesthesia for children who need it, and she is an affiliate of The Breathe Institute.
